Description

Connie is either a buckle or tie shoe.  Buckles are sold separately but all our buckles will fit the latchets. Instructions to accommodate to ties may come with the shoe or can be found on our website.
Connie is modeled after a photo in Baumgartner’s book on Clothing in Colonial Williamsburg. Connie is a straight last heeled shoe. Surprisingly comfortable.  You will forget that it is a straight last shoe the second or third time you wear it.  Connie is in black smooth supple leather but is a soft shoe (unlined).
This is a favorite with docent’s and re-enactors demonstrators, such as weaving and cooking.
The Baumgartner book shows a natural color shoe and was the model for our Connie.  Connie has a 1-3/4 inch heel and is available in sizes 6B to 10C in whole and half sizes. Price $129.50
