Description
The Concord in the natural-rough finish and can be dyed. This is a soft shoe without a lining on a left/right last, with a low heel.
The Natural-rough finish would darken as it aged and get a nice dusty brown. Or fill the leather with the home- made dressing. It would get dark and be a protector against the weather.
The Natural Concord would be a good choice for the farmer or in town worker could use a tie instead of a buckle.
We wanted more of a common man’s shoe. Then we named it the Concord in honor of the heroes who left their homes and their wife-warm beds to gather at the Concord bridge and dare the British Empire to do its worst. Buckles sold separately, but if shipped with shoes, included in shipping price. All shoes sold without buckles, please see our buckle selection.
“Here once the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world.”
Originally designed to honor those men who fired the shot heard round the World, the Concord is proving popular with women who want a solid and comfortable shoe that will stand up to grass and gravel; a shoe that will carry a tired woman until sunset.

Concord Natural Rough-out
At the time I ordered mine, they were a "special order" request as no one seemed to have yet asked for such. They were my favored footwear at the Alafia River Rendezvous because of the comfort and support in walking for hours. They are still as comfortable as Doc Martins for standing hours at a clan society tent at the Stone Mountain Highland Games or at Grandfather Mountain. Money well spent.
